- Shoeshine Boy & Cigarette Girl (14,792 words) - Published by Stars and Sabers, February 3. Genre: SFF. A retro-futuristic, noir, love story that takes place in an alternate Toronto. Shoeshine Boy wants to give Cigarette Girl the moon, but when a well-dressed stranger enters the picture, their love is put to the test.
- "The Soundtrack of My Afterlife" (9,196 words) - Published in Adventitious, issue 1, January 19. Genre: F. A girl and her unusual car bond over the music that marks their time together.

Running the gamut from lighthearted to dark, this collection brings together twenty-one science fiction and fantasy stories that examine our connections to each other, to technology, to the world around us, and even to ourselves.

When the body of an astronaut is inexplicably discovered in a field on her world, a woman dedicates her life to solving the mystery of how they ended up there.
- "Everything That I Am" (4,960 words) - Published in The Astronaut Among the Flowers and Other Stories (Stars and Sabers), August 18. Genre: SF. An original story to this collection. A robot fights for custody of the human boy she sees as her son, in the aftermath of the deaths of his human parents.
