- "And I Will Read to You About Butterflies" (3,647 words) - Published in Heartlines Spec, Issue 8, July 31. Genre: SF. Parents face the prospect of losing their son for a second time when the robot body that holds his consciousness begins to fail.
- "The Futility of Warning You" (750 words) - Published in Factor Four, Issue 48, July 2. Genre: SF. A time traveler attempts to warn their lover of the consequences of their actions.
- "Feathers" (760 words) - Published in Worlds of Possibility, June 20. Genre: F. A mother's attempts to protect her unusual child have unintended results.
- "So Many Things to See" (2,415 words) - Published in Trollbreath, Issue 4, May 31. Genre: SF. Sisters travel together in a post-apocalyptic world. With a malfunctioning eye implant, the younger one describes visions the older one can't see, but there's more to her stories than she lets on.
- "Fire & Flight" (4,941 words) - Published in Plott Hound, Issue 1, May 29. Genre: SF/F. A genetically engineered dragon endures life as an experiment, drawing strength from the music of the renowned singer she's named for.
- "After the Rain" (3,706 words) - Published in Escape Pod (ep. 991), May 2. Genre: SF/Solarpunk. When vandalism is discovered in a cooperative community, the residents set out to find the culprits.
- "After the Suns Go Down" (8,675 words) - Published in The Growers anthology (New Myths), April 15. Genre: SF/H/W. A family settles on a new world only to discover there are unexpected dangers.
- "Twelve Things that Will Occur Immediately Following Your Invention of Teleportation" (880 words) - Published in Factor Four, Issue 46, April 7. Genre: SF/Humor. A lot can go wrong when your cat gets a hold of your teleportation device.
- "The Underlying Cause of Her Insomnia" (1,000 words) - Published in Trembling With Fear (Horror Tree), February 9. Genre: H/Dark F. A woman with insomnia takes extreme measures to get some rest.
- "Hard Times at the Four Pines Motel" (1,000 words) - Published in Short Edition, Issue 16, February 18. Genre: SF. The invention of teleportation seems like a good thing...at first. Find it on the Nebula reading list.
